Thank you to all those who attended our fundraiser! We had a great turnout despite the weather and it was wonderful to see both long term members and new faces at the event.
A big shoutout to the presenters – Mark Gifford of the school board and Vancouver Foundation, Meredith Egan who did a wonderful spoken word presentation, Tyler Lee and Erin Harvie from Pacific Community Resource Society. Your words reminded us of the importance of combating both the causes and results of homelessness.
We are grateful to all our funders including VanCity, The Uptown and Downtown Business Improvement Associations, Beacon Unitarian Church and the City of New Westminster.
