Purpose Society is holding Naloxone training sessions. These are generally held the second Wednesday of each month (the next one is tentatively scheduled for November 9th). Anyone interested needs to sign-up either at reception, or by calling Purpose Society at 604-526-2522. We also offer workshops on demand for groups. Free kits are available for those who qualify (current or former opioid users).
Purpose also runs a low-barrier clinic, typically every Thursday from 9 am – 1 pm. No ID or MSP card is required to attend. Anyone interested is encouraged to make an appointment by calling 604-526-2522 or dropping by Purpose reception at 40 Begbie Street, New Westminster. However, they do accept a limited number of drop-in patients each week.
