Good Money Making A Difference In Your Community<\/h4>\n

New Westminster Homelessness Coalition Society recently received a grant of $500 towards their I’s on the Street<\/strong><\/em> program.<\/p>\n

The New Westminster Homelessness Coalition Society strives to create a continuum of housing options and supports in the City of New West for those people who are homeless, of risk of being homeless, vulnerable or requiring assistance to secure a home.<\/p>\n

I’s on the Street<\/strong><\/em> is a unique outreach program operated as a street cleaning business that engages and hires approximately 35 homeless or at-risk folks in our community within a year. It is an award winning, non-profit social enterprise designed to serve as a “stepping stone” to regular employment. The positive impact we have made to the city is to help homeless persons gain work experience that they would not have had an opportunity to learn elsewhere….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
