The City of New Westminster Emergency Management Office (EMO) monitors weather conditions and activates extreme heat protocols if temperatures are expected to reach at least 33\u00b0C during the day and 17\u00b0C at night for two consecutive days.\u00a0The EMO is currently focused on planning and outreach to our vulnerable populations, residents, property management companies, non-profits and faith-based organizations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
