The Seventh Annual Homelessness Action Week will be October 10–16, 2011. Communities and organizations throughout Metro Vancouver, BC and the Yukon will organize events to mark Homelessness Action Week. You can help to make Homelessness Action Week a success.
The New Westminster Homelessness Coalition is pleased to support this annual initiative with two events:
Homeless Connect Day
Where: Holy Trinity Cathedral, 514 Carnarvon Street, New Westminster
When: Wednesday October 12, 2011 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
What: Homeless individuals connect 1-on-1 with FREE services
Free Services include:
- help to find housing
- dental service
- mental health and substance abuse support
- legal counselling
- hair cuts, massages
- help to acquire identification
- employment counselling
